Open Source Wallpaper Script

If you are planning to create a wallpaper website but yet to find a good wallpaper script that suits your need. I recommended OSWallpaper. This script is an open source and you can acquired it for free. Its has all the feature to create an attractive wallpaper site. Currently the script is sill in beta version but the author of the script continually improve the script. To install the script you need the following software installed on your server :

PHP
MySql
GD Library
ImageMagick
Apache 2 or above with mod_rewrite enable

The script includes admin panel and allow user to register and upload their wallpapers. Through the admin panel you can manage your wallpapers, add/edit/delete categories, manage your ads if you want to put ads on your site to earn extra cash, manage your user (edit, block or delete user).
Besides that OSWallpaper also automatically resize wallpaper to 3-2 different size so that user can downloads a wallpaper that suits their screen resolution. This will saves you time to by manually resize the wallpaper you want to upload.

Some features are not available as they are still under development. But when all the feature that listed in their website is carried out its has a great potential to become one of the best wallpaper script.
